Project #1 completed! (January 28th 2006 - June 24th 2006)

All money were collected! $200! The visit to the orphan house took place on Saturday, June 24th, 2006! Hoooray! In total I made 60 bags of candies. Each bag contained: cocoa biscuits, jelly, snacks, chocolate, juice, oranges and candies.

My name is Nicholas. I've been a webmaster since 1999 and it's been a great web adventure. Now I decided that it's time to use my webmaster skills for charity causes too.
The purpose of this project is to give a ray of joy to some children of this world, which are orphans unfortunately. I'm not trying to change the world, I just want to give them a smile and you can do the same if you join my effort.
In December 2003 I had the initiative to collect money (around $76.55) in order to help orphan children from my city. Together with my colleagues we bought 44 bags of candies and we took the bags to the orphan house. The smile of the children told me that I'll have to return again in the future.
In 2006 I want to help them again. My goal is to collect $200 in order to buy 50 bags of candies. This time the bags will contain more candies. Pictures will be posted for credibility. Be proud for helping a good cause.
